Durable Powers of Attorney

• A durable power of attorney names an agent who will make financial decisions and transactions relating to your assets that are not held in your trust if you become incapacitated.  Your agent would have the ability to pay for your care, manage your bills, and sell real property if you do not have a trust in place.

Advance Health Care Directives

• An Advance Health Care Directive allows you name an agent to make health care decisions for you if you become incapacitated.  It also informs your physicians, family members, and care takers about your choices for your health care and your preferences for life sustaining measures, if you become unable to communicate these desires for yourself.
